Lakeside Yunlu by Greentown, cradled by nine rivers in the Jiangnan wetlands, elevates furniture from functional objects to mediators of nature’s dialogue.
This article traces the Cloud Shadow Sofa in the living room, unraveling how material contrasts, spatial minimalism, and light narratives redefine modern aesthetic order.
Living Room | Cloud Shadow Sofa: A Poetic Anchor Floating in Wilderness
The centerpiece is the Cloud Shadow Sofa—a modular ensemble of smoke-gray linen and suede leather.
Inspired by wetland mist’s fluidity, linen mimics water ripples, while matte leather echoes rock textures, their hand-stitched seams creating an ethereal "cloud boundary."
Suspended via hidden hydraulic legs, the sofa hovers with a willow-reed lightness. Its 38° reclined backrest dissolves rigid geometry, enveloping sitters in cloud-like softness while framing diagonal views of reed-draped wetlands beyond.
Copper grooves inside the armrests whisper metallic friction against fabric when teacups or books graze them—an ode to the Eastern philosophy that "the greatest sound is silence."
Dining Area | Stone Language Table: Earth’s Veins Reimagined
The star is a 2.8-meter Stratified Rock Table. CNC-carved shale cross-sections mimic Jiangnan hills’ stratigraphy, their ash-white gradients blooming into ink-wash effects under warm light.
Tree-fork-shaped legs, forged from carbon steel and welded with patinaed steel plates, whisper of "stone born from soil, wood decaying to earth."
Chairs blend bamboo-fiber boards and recycled rattan, their backs contoured to spinal curves.

Bedroom | Cocoon Bed: Light-Woven Retreat
The Cocoon Suspended Bed draws inspiration from silkworm cocoons. A 3mm champagne stainless steel headboard, folded into undulating curves, carves partial Along the River During Qingming Festival landscapes.
Precision-cut engravings cast gradient mountain shadows across walls under 270° ring lights.
Hidden wall-mounted legs anchor the bed, while magnetic-track nightstands hover. Japanese Okayama khaki linen, thrice-washed for faded texture, mimics reeds’ roughness and resilience.
