Introduction
When design returns to the order of nature, furniture takes on a new role—not just functional, but as a soft medium linking people to their environment and emotions to place.
In this project, the courtyard takes precedence over the house itself, placing nature at the heart of the design.
The space grows around trees and sunlight, and at its core sits a distinctive circular sofa—an inviting presence whose organic form becomes a vessel for both connection and quiet.
Living Room: A Social Radius that Embraces Nature
The living room unfolds in an open layout, like an unbounded field.
The circular sofa, soft and sculptural, becomes a gentle high point in the landscape, gathering people into a shared space.
Departing from the linear logic of conventional sofas, its curved form reshapes social interaction—no hierarchy, no rigid posture—just an easy, natural flow for conversation or solitude.
Constructed with high-density foam and wrapped in a plush velvet fabric, the sofa feels like a spring breeze against the skin.
Its gradient palette—deep grey blending into soft beige—forms a seamless transition with the rug beneath, echoing the room’s intentional openness and the natural tones drawn from the surrounding courtyard.
Dining Area: Extending Scale and Rhythm
Flowing naturally from the living space, the dining area remains visually light, with a simple dining table and bench that leave room for air and light to pass through.
Echoing the softness of the circular sofa, the dining chairs feature curved backs and no armrests, maintaining a cohesive, restrained aesthetic.
Through the windows, the green lawn becomes part of the view. Here, dining is no longer a formal ritual, but an extension of daily life.

Its gentle embrace offers more than physical comfort—it creates psychological security.
Whether chatting with loved ones or sitting alone in silence, the sofa offers a tranquil vantage point to enjoy the breeze through the pines beyond the window.
Bedroom: An Extension of Soft Emotion
Both the master and secondary bedrooms carry forward the theme of “natural dwelling,” with warm materials and open views.
A smaller version of the circular sofa appears at the foot of the bed—mirroring the design in the living room, and continuing its visual and emotional language.
It’s a space to sit and dress in the morning, or unwind with a book or quiet thought at night.
In the master bedroom, a palette of soft greys and whites harmonizes with views to the north and south.
Natural light falls gently across the sofa’s surface, highlighting the fabric’s subtle texture and shadow, as if the space itself were breathing.
