Along the banks of the Huangpu River, this villa residence fuses the elegance of old Shanghai with contemporary expression. Past and present sit quietly side by side, opening a dialogue between time, material, and order.
Amid this quiet rhythm, a wooden dining table becomes the spiritual anchor of the home.
It connects family through shared moments, while its natural texture and restrained proportions echo the deeper resonance between design and daily life.
Living Room: A Measured Aesthetic of Restraint
The living room reflects the architectural "工" character—a motif drawn from traditional Shanghai style—through symmetrical framing and textural layering.
A light beige fabric sofa blends softly into the material palette, paired with black-and-white wooden armchairs that bring calm and balance. Above, a ring light fixture hangs like a soft stroke, emphasizing spatial rhythm and vertical depth.
Within this visual harmony, the essence of the wooden dining table quietly emerges. The material language flows naturally from space to space, linking elements together.
